Executive editor James Cooper started at Adweek in 1998. He previously was the programming editor at Cablevision magazine and a staff writer at Broadcasting & Cable. He began his journalism career as a staff writer for The Courier-News, the Gannett Co.-owned daily in Bridgewater, NJ. Cooper graduated from Kenyon College and lives in Westchester County, NY, with his wife and two daughters.
